New Jobs as Dyer Engineering builds for Growth

Dyer Engineering is to create 60 jobs as part of a 2-year £2.6m investment project including a 20,000 square foot extension to the Annfield Plain factory.

Despite the economic downturn seeing turnover reduce from £7.6m to £5.6m for the year ended May  2010 Dyer Engineering have continued to invest in equipment, property and software  (£1.75m in the past 3 years) allowing the business to recover and grow with annual turnover now planned to increase from £8m to £12m over the next 3 years.

Currently employing 110 staff, Richard Bradley (FD) commented on future job creation “it’s about ensuring we are resourced correctly to give the level of service our customers demand.”

Dyer Engineering offers Total Engineering Solutions and does everything under one roof without having to rely on sub-contractors.

Graeme Parkins (MD) commented  “Working closely with NOF Energy in order to access the booming oil and gas sectors our name is getting in front of the right customers. We also have the rail industry which is growing again in South Durham with Hitachi and can see huge opportunities…”
