Dyer Engineering is thrilled to announce exciting changes in its senior leadership team, further strengthening the company’s strategic growth and commercial operations.
Chris Stavers joins the business as Commercial Director, while Graeme Parkins steps into a new role as Strategic Growth Director.
Based in County Durham, Dyer is a global partner to industry leading OEMs in the Defence, Renewables and Rail industries. Leveraging 47 years of expertise, they specialise in the manufacture of machined metal components and fabrications to further advance the global engineering industry.
Bringing extensive industry experience, Chris has a proven track record of driving growth in SMEs and boosting profit in both new and established markets. His expertise is set to bolster Dyer’s commercial team and enhance the company’s growth strategy. Chris will oversee operations, drive strategic partnerships, and explore new market opportunities, aligning with the company’s mission of growth and innovation.

After 14 years, Graeme Parkins steps into a new role as Strategic Growth Director. Graeme’s shift to this role will enable him to focus on understanding and leveraging environmental and political shifts to create long-term opportunities for the business.
Reflecting on his new position, Graeme noted, “The past few years leading the Commercial Team have been both challenging and rewarding. I’m excited to step into my role as Strategic Growth Director, focusing on identifying markets and customers to support Dyer’s ongoing growth. Chris will now oversee day-to-day operations, supported by our talented Commercial Team, while I focus on building a robust pipeline for the future.”
