Senior Lead Team Get Serious About Safety

The Senior Lead Team at Dyer  Engineering recently completed the three day IOSH approved course “Managing Safely”.  The aim of the course was to give our Managers an understanding of their safety and health responsibilities and was unlike any other safety and health course any of them had been on.Delivered by Zoe Neasham of Serious About Safety, the course delivered practical step-by-step guidance with a sharp business focus that was hands-on and jargon-free. The team thoroughly enjoyed working with Zoe and found her innovative format and content engaging and inspiring – critical to embedding safety and health throughout our entire organisation.

For the first time in many years the team had to sit an examination on the final day, which, despite a lot of competition in the room, was successfully passed by everybody.

After the course the team took a joint decision to roll-out a significant overhaul of our H&S management systems to make sure the are in line with our SmarterStrongerTogether ethos and our TargetZero aim of that our team expect to work in a company that experiences zero injuries.
